We stayed here over the 4th of July week to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. So, there was my family of 4 l, my brother’s family of 5 and parents. The house was just the size we needed to accommodate 5 teenage boys that are 6 ft to 6’5. The outdoor lower level space was perfect. The pool is small, but a great cool off after time at the beach. Which I think is the purpose? My only drawback is the location is not near Coligny and other restaurants. However, I would stay here again. Loved the shuttle service to and from beach; definite plus.

Better than expected! The location was a very convenient walk to the beach if you wanted to, but there was also an excellent golf cart shuttle service that a family (husband, wife, son, and dog) drove daily. Very easy to give them a quick call and get an easy maybe one minute ride to and from the beach. There is also conveniently a beach bar called Cocos that is not far at all from where you enter the beach. That was an awesome advantage because you could hang out at the beach all day with access to fresh lunches and cold drinks. The house was very nice and worked perfect for our group (6 adults and 2 kids). The kitchen was tight to us, but it wouldn’t be enough of a reason to not rebook this house. We had a couple tiny maintenance issues that were quickly resolved. The multiple balcony areas are great and the trees offer lots of privacy, we even had a hawk come land in a tree and hang out with us for a little while. The pool is very small (pictures make it look bigger in my opinion) but it was ample to just hang out in after the beach or days you needed a break from the sun as it was mostly under the porch. Great little hang out area with fans, plenty of seating, a grill, outdoor shower, and full bathroom. It’s also great to have access to the garage to store beach gear because not all houses we book on other beaches have that access. You won’t be sorry if you book 5 Henry on Hilton Head!

The home was a nice place to stay. The bedroom were VERY spacious. I think it should be made obvious that one of the rooms is on the main floor, which wasn't a big deal. The upstairs is very roomy with all of the bedrooms each having their own bathrooms. The main floor is much smaller than the pictures show and the biggest disappointment was the how small the pool was compared to what we thought we were getting from the photos. The pool is tiny. It is very nice to come back to the pool after a day at the beach though, just don't plan on everyone lounging in the pool at the same time! The house was very clean although there was a very bad smell from under the sink. We didn't pay attention to the description of the property that there is no equipment for the beach so we rented all our chairs, umbrellas for the week. The rental company is very convenient though and probably better quality than you'd get from over used equipment anyways! Also the bike rentals are a must for the week. Definitely must utilize the golf cart shuttle in the neighborhood to the beach.

We arrived to a very clean, comfortable and spacious home. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans coffee makers etc. all the bedrooms and bathrooms spacious. Outdoor living space by the pool could not enjoy due to mosquitoes. We enjoyed the access to the park across the street. Busy weekend for beach access, parking was challenging. Vacation Homes was extremely helpful and responsive!!!

We had a lovely experience at 5 Henry lane. It had everything we needed. The bedroom situation was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was a close east bike ride away from the beach. We enjoyed the dog park as well since there was very little yard for our dog. It’s literally across the street. The house was well kept snd beautifully decorated.

Loved the location. The beach was only a short 2 minute ride. There was a dog park about a 5 minute walk and a children's park about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute ride. The only thing I was not a fan of was no easy way to put up a safety gate to keep the little kids from going downstairs. I worried that they would get down the stairs and into the pool without us noticing. The rug at the bottom of the main stairs slid alot and I worry in the future that an older rperson might fall. Other then that the house was perfect.

Nice stay and property. Upstairs is very nice. Main floor as well just a little crowded space compared to furniture. Kitchen was fine. Downstairs pool area a little less clean but its winter time there.

Great communication with the company prior to our arrival. We enjoyed the house and the location was excellent in our opinion. Wish it came with bikes, last years rental did. Chairs and umbrellas would have been a nice touch as well. Workmen showed up unannounced. Clothes dryer did not turn off automatically, this was very inconvenient and dangerous. Mosquitos were a huge problem this year because the pond behind the house didn't run the fountain. The house was full of them! We had to purchase tons of products to reduce the number, never able to completely eliminate them. Overall, we enjoyed the house and it's location. We will return next year but we'll be better prepared for the small annoyances. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Property was clean and the check in/out process was non-existent. The property manager even refunded money for my pet when she could no longer make the trip:(. The property is within walking distance of some less crowded beaches and a park—which we loved. If you bring your critters, there is a dog park right across the street! We had a great stay and made some awesome memories.

5 Henry Lane was a wonderful home for a family holiday. The house is well laid out for a large group to spend quality time together and still have space for solitude. My only caution is that the pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and though we visited off season, the outdoor space is a bit dingy. Access to walking trails and the beach was wonderful!

This house is incredible. So much space. The pool was perfect and shallow enough that my 7 year olds could stand. Dog park directly across the street! House was close to Singleton Beach which wasn’t as busy. We were able to social distance safely. Pool area has a shower, outside shower, and a fridge, with interior stairs to the kitchen. You will need bikes or u can use the beach shuttle (golf cart). No public beach parking which is a plus!!! Short drive to Shelter Cove and grocery stores.

The home is beautiful and the location was great. The home provided just the right amount of rooms/space for our family and everyone was very comfortable for our stay. House was really nice. The whole rental procedure was easy, love having a keypad entry. Could have used a bit more info before we got there concerning the towel policy (if you get anything on them you will be charged) I would have brought extra for make up removal and such things. There’s only one pot holder and a couple dish towels in the kitchen but otherwise it’s nicely stocked. There’s a shuttle to the beach access which was very convenient. Definitely a 5 star rental.

This house is the perfect getaway for a relaxing beach vacation. The house was very well equipped. The location was quiet and restful. The distance to the beach was good. With bike rentals, it was a relaxing ride that only took a few minutes.
We were most appreciative of the property being dog friendly as we will not travel without the fur kid.
We definitely look forward to renting this location in the future!

The house was perfect for our group. We had 3 families (11 people total) and the bunkbeds in the one bedroom were perfect for our girls. There was plenty of space. The house was clean when we arrived. The pictures are a good representation of what you are getting. The xplorie card was a nice perk and saved us some money on the bike rentals and miniature golf. It's a short bike ride/walk to the beach.

5 Henry Lane...This was my second time staying at this property. It is immaculate, spacious, and quiet. The proximity to the beach is a definite plus, and the pool at the property is an added bonus. It sits in a convenient location to stores (grocery and others), and to restaurants. My stays were in conjunction with a girls' weekend, but this property would be ideal for families, as well!

We come to Hilton Head every year and rent a single home.. We usually stay closer to the beach, but this was a last minute booking and had less people than normal. We love being pet friendly as our fur babies always come as well. Other than signs of normal aging and being a pet friendly home, the home was well kept. The AC had a hard time keeping up during the day, but we were normally at the beach! Thanks for a great vacation.

We just stayed at this property for our latest Spring Break vacation with our family plus my husband's brother and his family. Lots of great space, plenty of bathrooms and beds for all 10 of us and then some. There were a few things that I would change if I owned this property. First, this house does not have an elevator as advertised. The garage doors also do not have openers so we had to raise and lower those by hand. No garage door openers meant that if we needed to exit the house through the garage, someone had to stay inside to lower and lock the door, then go up the stairs to the first floor entered the long door code, exit the front door and descend back to the parking level. This house has tons of french doors leading out to the first floor balcony but zero screens which meant we had to keep the doors closed at all times. There was also zero space in the cabinets to store any dry goods, so if you plan to cook meals in the house you'll have to put most of your dry goods on the counter. Several of the lights were burnt out and the A/C stopped working near the end of our stay and the upper floor temps rose to 83+, luckily we were there during spring when the outside temps were cooler. On the positive side, the management company had it fixed by by the next evening with little disruption to our stay. A hot tub would be a great addition to this home. The location of this property is ok. It is across the road from a small park that has basketball and tennis courts as well as access to the beach but there's not a playground in the park. The bike paths are also across the road but most of the nearby paths are adjacent to the the main parkway that goes through the island not a lot of scenic trails to ride near this property. The home is very nice and tastefully decorated, has plenty of room and satisfactory beach access/proximity but the location was not our favorite.

We will mention this to maintenance as all light bulbs are required to be checked prior to guest arrival and we will make sure that this wasn't indeed missed. Unfortunately, things may from time to time not work properly with normal wear and tear from constant use, however, as you mentioned we were able to get this fixed quickly for you. We make ourselves widely available to all guests in the event that you do have an issue with your rental property and we strive to have the issue remedied as soon as possible. Our week here, quickly became a discussion of a annual place to retreat to. The owners were quick to respond with detailed information, professional communication, and the accommodations were perfect. For our family, with little ones, this was the perfect space for everyone to have a comfortable room, plenty of common space, and so close to the beach. We loved the pool area, and the convenience of the location to all the stores, shops and the fact that it is a quick beautiful walk to the ocean without the higher cost that oceanfront brings. We will be returning and have recommended this spot to multiple other families for future vacations.

Each bedroom has a private bath and everyone enjoyed the jacuzzi tubs and very comfortable beds/mattresses, especially those of us with bad backs. The furnishings and amenities exceeded our expectations and were by far the best value we found on Hilton Head. Absolutely true to mark, a luxury home. Beach access was a short walk or bike ride, the pool, patios and grill were perfect for kids and adults. Shopping and grocery store are close by. The park across the street has tennis courts, trails and a dog park. The house is very nice and we have every intention of returning because we had such a great experience.
