I booked this vacation home a year in advance for a very special family vacation. Me and my husband, my son, my daughter, her husband and one year old and my 86 year old mom! We were looking forward to this for an entire year. This house was perfect for all of us. My only complaint is that there needs to be a continued walkway to the beach as it was hard to take my mom and "stuff" to the beach and the bed mattresses in a couple of the rooms could be replaced. Also, a crack in the microwave made us scared to use it! But great house in a great location! We would definitely rent again!

Great place to stay with your family. We had 11 people, aged 0–>84. They had more things in the garage of the house than was listed online which was very helpful and convenient. We’d love to come back!

The house was very nice, plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. The exception was the number of forks, not even enough for one meal. We had to buy plastic forks to get by. The pool and deck were very nice, had enough room on the deck for a small baby pool. Walk to the beach was a little difficult when carrying a lot of beach items.

House was great! Plenty of room for the 15 of us. Everyone enjoyed the heated pool and the close proximity to the beach! Suggested improvement: Provide better spatulas, etc. for nonstick pans. More forks would be great, as we were always running out. Other than that, everything was great!

Great spot on the beach. Spacious for 12 adults. Prompt responses from property manager regarding a couple of issues/questions that came up. Would recommend and would stay here again. Could have been cleaned a tiny bit more before arrival but overall clean and tidy.

This home was wonderful and plenty big. Came to HHI for a family members wedding and loved this home. Very clean, my only recommendation would be to have a book letting you know where iron, extra blankets, hairdryers etc are, we seemed to be hunting for those items. Could have upgraded the shampoo and conditioner for the shower. Overall great property!!!

Property location was great. The house was clean and very nice. We had problems using our code. Entry to the home is 5:00 pm, same time when the office staff goes home. After traveling all day we had to go find the office to pick up a key left in a key box on a post. After finally finding the post we got the key. Never once did anyone volunteer to bring us a key. No one offered to give us the garage door code which would have been much easier and saved us a trip to the office. Entering the house we found the refrigerator and freezer was not working. Texted again to let someone know the issue on Wed but did not get anyone out to check it until Friday. Wasted 2 days trying to get the issue resolved. Communications with office was sketchy. Refrigerator finally got cold enough to keep food but not as cold as it should be because water did not get very cold and freezer would not keep ice cream solid. The home was perhaps checked 7 days before our arrival but home was not occupied the week before we arrived and not checked prior to our arrival or they would have discovered the issue with the refrigerator. TVs were a little difficult to get operational but the did send someone to assist with that. Also the kitchen had only 1 drying towel and dish cloth which is not enough for 8 days. Should be at least 3-4 minimum. In summary home had a great location and nice floor plan and would consider renting it again but you need to bring a lot of items with you unless you rent towels and chairs for beach and we found working with the rental companies was not easy but expensive.

Nice house. Great location. Had issues with refrigerator/freezer for first 2.5 days and communications with staff not good. We made the best of it and had a great time. Love the community of Hilton Head Island.

We had family members from age 6 to age 76. The house was PERFECT! The three levels of the house provided plenty of individual space and privacy for each smaller family unit. Plus the large first floor main level provided plenty of space for all family members to easily gather together to share meals and group time. The balconies on each level reminded us the reason we initially chose the house.....the views of the beach were great. The private pool definitely provided time for the younger ones to burn off energy. The house and all its amenities were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms and bathroom were spacious. The location was perfect. But the "icing on the cake" was the private walkway to the beach. We rented some umbrellas and chairs which were set up and taken down each day. All we had to do to enjoy the beach was to walk down the walkway.

Perfect place for our family reunion and Mother’s day celebration! Beautiful house with large bedrooms, fantastic balcony views, a first floor kitchen/greatroom where we could all gather. Our family of 8 adults and 2 small children were comfortable in this large house. The room layout with connecting bathrooms was nice and gave everyone plenty of space. A few things need updated i.e. bed linens, kitchen dishes, pots and pans, hot mitts and dish towels, but we made do. Location was great. Overall a wonderful stay!

House was a nice location and the beach was nice but the outside deck was overrun with ants. Downstairs floor was covered in sand when we arrived, and there was no sponge or counter spray to clean up with. There was one roll of paper towel and one roll of TP per bathroom for 4 days and 17 guests so we had to go and buy supplies at the store.

We had 5 generations on this trip from 1 year to 90 years old, this home was perfect for us. The home is nicely appointed and comfortable with plenty of living space. Everyone had their own bedroom with attached bathrooms. The view is excellent directly oceanfront with your own private boardwalk to the beach. Just a short walk down the beach is Sea Salts for snacks and drinks. We were very pleased with the location and quality of this home.

Our experience with this property was generally excellent. The plusses (not in order of importance) included -- Beach front with a private path to the beach (private is a big plus) -- Central location on island -- Comfortable beds and furniture -- Generously sized rooms with high ceilings -- Kitchen large enough for more than one person to work -- Alexa on the main floor to provide music and information such as high/low tide times -- Foosball in the third floor living area -- An assortment of noodles and other playthings in basement (also some puzzles and games on the main floor) -- Dining room table does indeed seat 10! (though a bit snug) -- lenty of closet space -- Concerned, knowledgeable, polite, competent, and prompt property management Not so great things included: -- Small pool without a spa (but an in-pool bench with some jets on one wall) -- Lots of problems with internet strength and continuity coupled with the internet provider's slack response time (this is a big problem because cell phone reception isn't great). I hope the issue has been fixed. -- Dining room chairs noisy on tile floor (could use felt pads on legs) -- Some furniture placed oddly (not enough/near enough bedside table and lamps; have to play card/board games at dining table or move heavy furniture in living area) -- Occupant(s) of main floor bedroom don't have private bathroom -- Narrow porches (can't seat many people at same time comfortably)

Spacious, clean & beautiful home that worked well for our family of 15. Excellent communication from the manager. Loved the kitchen/living area. It was fun to cook & eat together with such a fantastic view. Master bedrooms were huge, but all the bedrooms worked well for our group. The pool is small but our four younger grandchildren loved it. Ocean access was so easy, We really enjoyed the Old Oyster Factory...delicious food! Our first trip to Hilton Head but hopefully not our last. Highly recommend 21 Horvath’s Peninsula.

The house was clean & spacious. So fun to cook together in the kitchen with such a fantastic view. The living & dining areas were ideal for our family of 15. The master bedrooms were large & comfortable. The other bedrooms were nice, also. Perfect access to the beach. The pool is quite small but worked out well with the four youngest grandchildren. This vacation was to bring our adult children together, to blend our families. The 1st floor of the house was so spacious and wonderful to do just that. The furniture is new and so comfy. The kitchen is open & complete with everything needed to cook. The only issue we had was the ice maker couldn't keep up with 12 adults making drinks....which we expected. Bags of ice kept us ready. Plus there is a full refrigerator in the garage(which is huge & can fit at least 4 cars, if not 6). The pool/deck was perfect for us after a day in the sun at the beach. It all becomes shaded as the afternoon moves on. We did feel the pool was more adult friendly, than kid friendly, which was fine for us. We loved ending our day in the pool & relaxing on the deck. We did have to spray for ants a few times though. The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful too. Our 15 year old chose to sleep on the 3rd floor pull out couch & loved having his own little spot. We would definitely recommed this house and stay here again!

The home is beautiful and very new. The open space on main level was perfect for our family of 18 ranging from a 1 year old to a 76 year old. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were very large, the pool and outside patio is ideal. The view of the dunes and water are reason enough to stay here. There is ample parking with the large garage. The property management company was helpful, quick to act, and allowed us to text which made things much easier. With all that said, the best part of the house is the short private walk to the beach. We will be coming back to this house.

Finding the house was a bit weird...our GPS was guiding us to go over this small bridge that looked like a walking path. Come to find out it was for driving, so we drove over it and landed right in front of the house. Went in and found a beautiful property, new furniture, amazing appliances, lots, and lots of space for the 10 ladies that we had in our party. Pool was heated nicely - when it wasn't heating one day, I called it in and a tech came our right away to fix it. A very nice short walk to the beach and beautiful views of the ocean from the three balconies. At other vacation rentals, they provide all of the toilet paper and paper towels. When we told them we needed more, they said they only provide "starters" until you go buy your own. We thought that was a bit odd, but not a deal breaker. Overall, we had a really great time and I would go back and stay in the same house!

Beautiful location. Have visited HHI many times over the years and always rent oceanfront homes. This one was our least favorite property out of 15. It is worn down, dated for a recent build, and needs touch ups. Construction and finishes were inferior but not a deal breaker for a short getaway. Very little privacy on the ocean/pool side, since this house is sandwiched between other homes and the balconies are exposed and on the same level. The side bedrooms are also dark since the neighboring homes are a few feet away. Wouldn't be my first choice for another vacation but wouldn't rule it out if in a bind and just want a property on the ocean.

It has been a wonderful stay so far. We have a party of 6 adults and 4 kids and there is still plenty of room for more! Our kids love the pool, it’s the perfect size for them and a few adults. The walk to the beach is perfect, and it has not been too crowded around us. The kitchen is fully stocked and plenty of room for our groceries. There is a fridge in the garage which is perfect for all your drinks. Also the maintenance crew is great, they came out or any and all issues and fixed them immediately. Our only complaint is the WiFi/cell service is not the best around. Would recommend this house to everyone!

We loved the house and the layout. Overall a great stay and we would stay there again but a few nitpick recommendations and issues. There were issues with wifi and cell service that became a challenge for three of us who were trying to do some work during the week. The firepit was falling apart and was unusable. That would have been a nice perk if we had been able to use it. The outside deck area is small and the outdoor table and chairs doesn't allow for much space around it-- you basically have to climb over people. Just not a lot of room. The TV didn't get many channels and while we had access to Netflix, we couldn't access basic news channels like CNN. A lot of us had issues with the bottom sheets not staying on while you slept. So you'd wake up sleeping on the mattress pad. Again, overall our experience was positive.

This home is beautiful with spectacular views of the lake from the large windows. The short walk over the peer offered quick access to the beach which was not over crowded. When ready to hang back at the house, the pool offered a nice cool place to hang. The large, spacious two master suites were dreamy with their views of the water from the tub or bed. This home allowed for everyone to be in the same space or to sneak off for some quiet time. It did need more dish towels and clothes for the number of people it houses and we needed a swifter to keep floors clean for crawling babies. The management company was helpful in assisting us. Overall it was a great experience!

The house was spacious and perfect for our group of 15. The beach is a 30 second walk out the back door and so convenient. It was really nice for the kids to be able to run between the beach and the house all day. The pool is small but everyone enjoyed it. The beach was really fun for riding bikes as well. All the restaurants we wanted to go to were about a 15 minute drive.

We really really enjoyed at this beautiful oceanfront house. We loved drinking coffee on the pool deck and watching the sunrise and riding bikes all over the island. We cooked a lot of the meals in the house and the kitchen was all stocked. We went out a few times for dinner and we had plenty of options within a 5-10 minute drive. It was a great vacation.

We had four generations come together at this lovely oceanfront home in Hilton Head in July 2018. There was plenty of room for all! The six bedrooms were very comfortable and each had a bathroom! The ocean view from the wall of windows on the main level was breathtaking! We loved being just a 30-second walk to the beach and spent much time there. The main living area was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We never had a need for a pan, bowl or dish that we couldn't find in the home. Not a single one of us was ready to leave this oceanfront paradise when the time came. We give it the highest possible recommendation!

We had a marvelous family vacation at 21 Horvath's Peninsula. 20 of us came from all over the country to celebrate a milestone birthday.
The house is clean, comfortable, convenient and perfect for a big family vacation. It is close to the shopping center, easy drive to marsh creek road (where we kayaked) and right on the beach. The splash pool was perfect for late afternoon hanging out. The 3 porches overlooking the ocean were magnificent. Well appointed kitchen. Airconditioning worked well. Came to clean the pool midweek which was super.
Only complaint was that there were no chairs or beach umbrellas left behind to use so we had to purchase all new. In addition, we were not permitted to leave these brand new things behind for others to use. Prior places I've rented through VRBO had those available so we only needed to "fill in" things we neeeded.
Aside from that, I would absolutely rent this fabulous house again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

What a wonderful home!! Great location and the home was very well set up for a family of 12. Will definitely be renting this home again. The rental agency (Vacation Homes of Hilton Head) was also extremely welcoming and were very prepared for our stay which made our trip all the more enjoyable.

The house was extremely clean upon entering, and accessing it was very easy. Our group had 13 people, and we all slept comfortably with two per each bed, without need for the pull-out sofas. The location is wonderful, and thankfully there is a Kroger just two minutes away with everything you could possibly need. Great experience overall.

Home was very spacious and comfortable for 8 adults and 7 children. Proximity to the beach made naps effortless, snacks easy to replenish, and potty breaks a breeze. Night time searches for ghost crabs and sea turtles were enjoyed by all. Pool was an exceptionally big hit. Management company was readily accessible and helpful. Already reserved our spot for next year!

This home is beautiful and so convenient to the beach and all of Hilton Head. It was clean and in good repair. My only complaint was the sterile feeling it had. There were no books left from past guests, or board games, pool toys, etc.
I believe when guests leave everything is thrown out. There was nothing warm and fuzzy about this home. Also, the furniture in the great room needs replaced.
The wifi was extremely lacking and I believe this home is also a cellular dead zone. That became frustrating to make reservations and check locations.

As far as items such as pool toys, board games etc. this is entirely up to the owner of the home and as these things aren't required some owners leave them and others don't. Some owners like to eliminate clutter and don't wish to leave these things. Some vacationers do experience spotty reception here on the island (mainly vacationers who have AT&T) but this depends on your cell phone carrier. The house is nice and has good features. The kitchen has great appliances, which extra fridge in the garage. The utensils, pots, pans, etc were less the desirable. Not enough silverware to accommodate 15 people.

The pool was heated to allow for swimming on a cool week, which was a plus for us. The house is a big noise given the design. You can hear small noises all over the house, so with a full house it becomes like one big conversation from the top down. That would be the biggest negative, the noise travels in the house. Also, they have the alarm set to chime every time the door is open. Again, with a large group this becomes very annoying.

Beds are rigid, recommend to bring your own pillow and mattress top. The only softer mattress is on the main floor.

We loved the house accept for a couple things. The boardwalk from house to beach had a steep jump, not steps down. Which wasn't very good for older people, There seemed to be dog hair in third floor master bedroom.

This place is amazing. Extremely clean from top to bottom. The house is massive. Family room is very large and accommodating to large families. Location is great! Not only is it right on the beach but it is within 15 minutes of almost anywhere on the island. Lots of nearby restaurants and grocery stores if you want to cook. Great place, great price! We would stay there again if we ever need this big of a house. 5 stars out 5.
