This home was simply outstanding! Excellent accommodation for 11 people with plenty of space to all be together or get some private time. Heated pool looking out to the beach was perfect for kids and adults.

We love this house. It was perfect for our family of 13 and we had such a good time. Everyone had plenty of space. It was clean and we had no problems. The oceanfront was wonderful and the beach was not crowded at all.

We had a family group of 14. Worked out well us. It is located in a private community so the beach was fairly uncrowded. Had a few minor issues and we were pleased with the quick response of the property manager.

The location is absolutely excellent. You can't beat a beachfront for maximizing your time. The convenience of being right at the beach saves so much time and creates more opportunities to make memories. The view is constant and breathtaking! We did have a small repair issue, but it was handled quickly. The only bad thing we experienced was groups of loud young people gathering after midnight in the street, and one night there was a gathering of young people on bikes and in trucks accessing the nearby beach access setting off fireworks after midnight.

We wanted to be away from the crowds and this location was perfect! There is a folly where the tide comes in and during high tide, it can’t be crossed. So it was like having your own private beach. The house itself has been re-done and all the bedrooms are beautiful. There are updated bathrooms as well. April is a great time to visit HHI as is the fall. We will be returning to this house in the fall as it suited our family perfectly.

House location was breathtaking. Kitchen fully stocked with equipment and cooking supplies. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Elevator came in handy. We had the perfect wedding celebration here. Note: main hall bathroom light flashing and does not stay on. Main floor bedroom light in bathroom does not work.

Overall we had a great vacation! We had a total of 15 people and the home had plenty of space. We love the location and the private beach. The pool was great, we spent a lot of time in it. A little disappointing the rental company doesn’t provide beach towels, or any beach equipment. It makes it difficult for guests who are traveling by plane. Our only complaints are the floors weren’t very clean when we checked in, one of the Queen beds was awful and made the loudest noises each time you moved, and the bathroom for the queen room was dated and had a dirty shower curtain. For the amount of money you spend I would expect a little more. We had to contact the rental company for a few minor things and they were quick to respond. Also, the elevator was great!

We stayed at this great property to celebrate my 60th birthday and we had our children and our grandchildren there and the house was perfect! There was space for each family and everyone really enjoyed their time as well as the pool and the private beach access! Loved our time here and already hoping to come back. The only suggestion I would make is the limited amount of supplies that are left for renters. For example, we were expected to take garbage out regularly (which is a normal expectation) but there were only a few garbage bags provided and a family of 9 can generate loads of garbage in a week!! It would’ve been much more convenient to have garbage bags available so that we didn’t have to buy garbage bags to fit the garbage cans of the unit and just leave them behind. The limited bath towels provided was a bit of a challenge given that people were going to the beach in the morning then getting ready with a shower to go out then coming back and going to the beach at night and then having another shower to wash off from the beach. Hard to make one or two towels per person work in that instance and a strict threats about getting make up on hand towels had me running around like the make up remover principal! I have in my own Vrbo black washcloths with make up remover embossed on them. They’re quite lovely because people can get all the make up items that they want and you’ll never see them. I’ve stayed in several VRBO‘s in the last year and it seems many people are moving to that. I do recognize that you provide make up remover but for sensitive skin that my daughter and granddaughter both have they cannot use those in tears their skin up. Also it would be very convenient to provide beach towels. Lugging beach towels for 9 people ftom SLC was a big bag. We have a VRBO property that we rent in Hawaii and we provide beach towels. Granted they do often get stolen but that’s just kind of the price of having a home with beach access in my opinion. Costco sells great beach towels that are quite affordable. Other than thise inconveniences though, everything was outstanding!

View to due for. On the beach in a minute. Bike rides on the beach. Lots of nearby activities for all ages from grandkids (9 and 11) to grandparents (69). House is very well appointed and comfortable. Common space to gather, but big enough to let people get away from one another too.

Our large group from Myrtle Beach stayed at this home for tennis state playoffs. It was perfect for us as it was located in the middle of the island and we had to go to both ends of the Island for our matches. The bedrooms are nicely sized and spaced out so we were not on top of each other. The beach is gorgeous and relatively uncrowded compared to some of the plantations. Home is a bit dated but was clean and well cared for, as was the pool. For a 6 bedroom home, parking is limited, but we managed to get 6 cars in, with 3 in the tandem garage, 2 smaller cars in driveway and one really small car diagonal behind them. There is no guest or street parking anywhere. If you drive larger trucks or SUV’s there will only be room for 4 max. It’s a lovely home and we will probably try and rent it next time our team comes back to HHI. But, we will definitely car pool!

The home is located in a private beach neighborhood with no public beach access for anyone other than the neighborhood. It makes your stay at the beach seem as if you are on your own beach with your neighbors. The beach itself at low tide is very wide, with calm[er] waters than north in OBX. The home recently was upgraded with a new pool deck which makes spending time in the wading pool a pleasure along with the main floor has upgraded hardwood. It's a beautiful home. The only challenge is there is only one main eating area, and you would be hard pressed to seat your up to 17 (which the home states it accommodates) guests. The table seats 11, with three (2 if you are seating adults) stools on the kitchen island. Other than that, very comfortable for our family of 12.

The property boasts it's elevator as if it's a main feature of the home. We were called the day before check in and told it wasn't working. I had to follow-up the day (several days after we arrived) maintenance was scheduled only to be told they "confirmed" it wasn't working. From there, the property manager NEVER followed up with me. We got plenty of promotional communication, but zero follow-up. Lucky we could work around this, however, I wonder what the upcharge is for an elevator on a beach. No one from the property management firm obviously cared enough to follow-up with us. This would be a 5-star stay if not for terrible customer service.

Thank you for your response, and we fully understand the issue with the dining options in seating. With that said, you will find it hard to get a dining table into the home that will fit the max occupancy let alone an area. We try our best to accommodate large families and we prioritize living rooms to dining rooms as more time is spent in these areas than dining rooms. I apologize for the breakdown in communication between the office and your party about the elevator. We were notified late in the week about the issue and we try our best to get vendors out to the property as quick as possible. If parts are needed for repair, they are not always as easily accessible as we wish it was. I truly am sorry that there was no follow up about the elevator to you and we will continue to strive to be more commutative with our guests.

The property was great! We discovered the first morning that the coffee pot was broken and someone from the property delivered a new maker by the end of day. The kitchen was well equipped and all bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Would recommend!

Three generation family(3 yr old to 78 grandad) had a great time; something for everyone. Direct beach access and small porch pool just perfect. Spacious enough that everyone could enjoy themselves without feeling "cramped".

Thankfully, I rented this house in early May. I would have been disappointed if I had paid peak rates. The house next door is undergoing major construction. As this was a working get away for us, this was a problem. Taking conference calls with pounding and sawing was a big issue. This house needs some cosmetic work (paint, carpet, cushions outside). First floor is nice. 3 stories of windows in living room is amazing. Location is awesome. Have stayed at many houses in Singleton, this was not the best, but adequate for early season pricing. Vacation Homes of HHI staff was awesome as always.

We are so very sorry about the noise from the construction next store, we are often not informed of personal work going on at these homes hence we have no way of letting you know prior to your stay. Please always keep in mind these homes can only do renovations during the off season so from Thanksgiving to Memorial Day is all they get to do work that being rental homes they need form annual wear and tear. I will be sure to pass on your suggestions to my facilities manager as well as the owner. We hope to have you back very soon as. A lovely home, needs some up dates, but still beautiful. Outside deck badly needs replacing, we had to be careful where we walked. walk to the beach must be replaced had to call maintenance. Pool look clean, but after 2 days very dirty.6 out of the 12 of us came home with swimmers ear. Hot tub was very dirty. pool it's self was dirty too needed to be emptied and scrubbed.

We had a great week in HHI Memorial Day week. It was extremely hot for that time of year so the AC had a hard time keeping the house cool. The house is in a great location & we all enjoyed being right on the beach. Everyone enjoyed the pool & hot tub. The house was well equipped in the kitchen. Overall it was a clean & nice house. The management company was easy to work with. They even called to check to make sure everything was ok. We would definitely rent again from them. ��

Every year my wife, kids, and myself take a vacation to Hilton Head around the end of the summer/beginning of fall. This year we decided to do things a little different and instead of our normal condo/hotel, we rented 12 collier beach. We were beyond happy with our decision and could not say enough good things about the vacation. With multiple bedrooms, a pool, and private beach access, the house has so much to offer. Each one of my kids was able to have their own room and my wife and I had a master bedroom with an amazing beach view. In addition to all of this, we were extremely pleased at how CLEAN the house was. All in all, this vacation was amazing and we absoluteness recommend this house to anyone looking for a great experience. The worst part of the vacation was having to leave but we are happy to say that we will be renting the same house again next year!!

Wow! The view is spectacular. You can’t beat oceanfront. We LOVE the beach, but hanging out by the pool was great. The living room has an amazing view with large windows and we spent a lot of time hanging out on the brand new furniture! The area had plenty of seating for all of us. We enjoyed that every room had TVs! It rained one night and having On Demand was great to watch movies with the kids. The linens and towels were fresh and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We went out a few nights to eat, at Skull Creek Boathouse and Giuseppi’s, but made most dinners in to enjoy the views. Overall, I would definitely recommend this house! The spacious layout ensured lots of room for everyone, and we will definitely be back.
