Coastal Discovery Museum
The Coastal Discovery Museum is located on the 68-acre Honey Horn property and offers history, culture, and art exhibits and education. Allowing visitors to "experience the Lowcountry up close," The Coastal Discovery Museum features historic buildings, nature trails, kid's exhibits, and gardens to explore.
Explore both guided and unguided tours of the Coastal Discovery Museum. Take a boat cruise with the Coastal Discovery Museum to learn about Daufuskie Island artisans, learn about the waters and salt marshes of Broad Creek, kayak to Page Island, or tour the Port of Savannah. In addition to the tours, the museum also is host to festivals and events throughout the year.
Visit the Discovery House, which is the oldest building on-site dating back to 1859. Other historic sites include the Supervisor's House, Pole Barn, and Horse Barn.
There's so much to do and see at the Coastal Discovery Museum. Plan to spend much of the day here, and check their website for current events, exhibits, and tours.
