This scenic park is home to the Mitchelville Freedom Park, which honors the historic site where Union General Ormsby Mitchel declared the area to be free. There are informational spots along the trails meant to recreate the town of Mitchelville. Guests have a chance to learn more with exhibits, lectures, tours, forums, and cultural programs.

Located on Port Royal Sound, the Fish Haul Creek Park beach is not your typical Hilton Head Island beach. This area scenic area offers peace and quiet, you may not even spot another person as you walk down the beach.
